When you have finished the season of hunting and the baiting is over, make sure that you clean up after yourselves. Take any of your equipment with you and all the rubbish you may have such as plastic bags. Furthermore, try and rotate baiting sites year to year, especially if you don’t own the land. You should also look up the regulations of hunting in the area, such as how to bring a deer down.
Some states and areas do not condone shooting a deer whilst it’s at a baiting site and say that you should shoot when it’s on its way to or from the baiting site, on the game trail. When you are baiting make sure that you stay responsible for that area.
Responsibility of the areas you use include using methods that will evidently prevent the spread of disease or at least minimize the risks that may occur. Make sure that whilst hunting, you are hunting ethically.
